The ground floor consisted of two, two-bedroom apartments each with private courtyard and 6 enclosed car spaces. The car spaces are split into 2 garages of 3 spaces each to reduce the “carpark” feeling and similarly two separate entries were created to reduce the feel of living in a large apartment block. The upper floor consisted of four, two-bedroom apartments, each with a generous private balcony.
Each kitchen included 600mm wide appliances, a full fridge space and a dishwasher drawer for added convenience without limiting the cupboard space. A white kitchen colour pallet was chosen to maximize the feeling of space in the compact living/dining areas.
A combination of 2 course feature face brick and 2-tone render was selected to provide visual interest to the development, whilst keeping the costs down and reducing long term maintenance requirements.
