APARTMENTS   |  KEWDALE   |   2017

The client came to Integrity Developments with a planning approval for 13 apartments and we took these plans and brought them to life by maximising the number of units possible and creating 10 x 2 bed 2 bath and 3 x 1 bed 1 bath apartments. Originally the client thought they would only be able to get either 5 townhouses or villas on the site.

The wide 22.6m frontage allowed for a central driveway with the apartments lined either side concealing open undercroft carparking. The 2 bed 2 bath units featured laundries that were combined within the bathrooms. To maximise living areas in the 1 bed units the laundries were designed in modern streamlined cupboards for a space efficient area.

To create a sense of privacy for the entrance for each unit this large development comprised of four separate sets of stairs. Glass bricks were used in some apartments allow the maximum amount of natural light into the unit whilst still complying with the fire engineering requirements. Mirrored robe doors throughout the property were used to enhance the sense of space in the bedrooms.

A neutral exterior colour scheme of white, grey and black is enriched with feature vintage red bricks to add warmth and a sense of home to the large development.
