This house was designed beautifully. With a big enough block for two houses the clients decided to keep the big backyard for the children, but while designing this large family home they made allowances for future subdividing and selling of the back half of the block including fencing and driveway provisions.

The interior features generous minor bedrooms complete with built in robes and desk nooks. The minor bedrooms also have their own hallway which has access to the activity room for maximum privacy and versatility.

The open plan living, dining and lounge rooms are all north-facing for maximum daylight and the full kitchen with scullery and island bench top has views and access to the activity room as well as the kids’ separate hallway. There are scattered recesses and furniture nooks and raised ceilings throughout the home.

The upper level is small and set forward to save space and money. This amplifies the street appeal of the home making it look larger from the front. The first floor master has a king-sized ensuite with walk-behind-wall shower and a bath with a beautiful corner window.

The bedroom also has a feature recess for the bed head that houses the air conditioning ducts. The front of the house has cedar-lined eaves, raised garden beds, and beautiful tile detailing to the fascia as well as frameless glass balustrading and a balcony on the front upper level to complete this house’s appealing aesthetic.
