The client for this duplex development had their own vision and goal in mind when they came to see us for property development advice.
This property is a corner lot, which gave us the option to create two quite separate residences each with their own street frontage onto different roads.
This fitted in with the client’s vision of selling one and living in the other as it maximised the block.
Both of these duplex villas were large three bedroom, two bathroom homes that have been designed with open plan living and alfresco areas. These generous areas are ideal for entertaining and to capture views of the park.
The owner’s vision was to create large usable spaces with luxuries not always included in duplex developments. Baths were included in the bathrooms, large built-in robes were installed in all bedrooms and a large laundry was incorporated off the entry to the garage.
Both garages have manual roller doors on the back for easy access and to create a larger entertaining area if required.
To finish the design, the landscaping at the front of the house was filled with mulch to reduce maintenance and lawn mowing costs.
