This North facing block on 2 corners was subdivided into three equal size lots of 215sqm each. We designed a large double storey house for each lot – with the garage location being determined by the presence of 2 large verge trees, the slope on the property and the council’s requirement to have a garage off the Right of Way at the rear.

Priority was given for each house to have the master bedroom and ensuite on the ground floor to cater for buyers who’s needs may change over time. The upper floor extends over the front of each dwelling to create a North facing alfresco area directly off the internal living and dining space. Theupper floors boast 3 large bedrooms, a bathroom with separate toilet and a generous activity area with room for a study nook as well.

White stone bench tops in the kitchen blend in with the Calacatta tiled splashback tiles which create a beautiful contrast with the Polytec “Canterbury Grey” Matt cupboard doors. Polytec “Stone Grey” Matt cupboards blend perfectly with the EssaStone “Ashen Cloud” gloss stone benchtop in the ensuites to enhance the effect of the floating vanity against the full height Calacatta floor and wall tiles.

Dark grey and White render on the elevations draw out and compliment the black and cream colours in the feature Vintage Red bricks. Hardie’s Matrix cladding, painted dark grey, surround a window pop-out on each house to provide shading from summer northern sun and to provide a counter feature to the vintage red brick.
